The purpose of the Tourist Accommodation Program is to minimize illnesses and injuries associated with unsanitary or hazardous conditions in Georgia’s tourist accommodations through:

• Regulation and inspection of more than 90 tourist accommodations.
• Investigation of complaints.
• Education and training for tourist accommodation employees and managers.
