Position Title: PH LPN – Bulloch HD

Paygrade: F, G, H

Location: Bulloch County Health Department

Description of Duties: Under nursing supervision and in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols, performs clinical duties requiring professional judgment, experience, and skills. Responsibilities include administering childhood and adult immunizations, providing medical treatments, administering medications and injections, and maintaining drug inventory. Assists registered nurses with various clinical duties in Women’s Health and Family Health programs. May also provide general clerical support and assist with county public health programs. Assigned specific clinical duties within the scope of an LPN practice in public health.

Minimum Qualifications: Vocational/Technical degree in licensed practical nursing from an accredited college AND current Georgia license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse AND CPR certification AND completion of all necessary orientation and training for Public Health LPN. No experience required.

Preferred Qualifications: One (1) year working experience as a licensed practical nurse; Bilingual
